Your first audio is the audio recording I carry with me. Listen to the stories over and over or listen for EVP’s.

Your second audio is the SBox spirit box recording. I don’t take away the fun of you discovering things for yourself, but here’s a few things I found:

• 0:17 “red one” A little early on the answer to the question of “what color is the barn?”, but then again, it’s not like I’m not there 6 nights a week and know I’m coming with the same question.
• 14:48 “those people”
• 34:30 “the judge’s ruling”
• 34:36 “catastrophe” the Pinckney Mansion did burn down in the great fire of 1861.
• 47:04 “live”
• 54:14 “we are farmers” technically, the Pinckneys would’ve been considered farmers with their indigo crops.
• 1:07:46 “are you alone”
• 1:07:57 “one of my favorites”
• 1:08:08 “we have a 12-year-old”
• 1:23:12 “children” we were by the St. Phillip’s Cemetery where I told you of Sue Howard Hardy’s stillborn child.
• 1:35:45 “reveal a secret”

Because there was so much activity coming out of the SB7 spirit box, I took the audio from the thermal imaging camera and separated it so you all can listen to just the audio and hear all the things that were caught in real time. This normally doesn’t come with the data, but felt it was necessary.

IN your digital spirit box word list below, you’ll find plenty of terms that were relevant with verifiable links to go dive further into each story. There was more here than I realized in real time, so it was a nice surprise to find so many very defining terms relatable to your ghost hunt. I’m probably most excited about the term “Cooper” since the Pinckney Mansion would’ve faced the Cooper River.

In the picture I left for you above, it’s worth noting that the blurriness of the lines goes in different directions and that some of the white lines are not identical. Granted, this is laser evidence, but felt that you should at least see what I see when I go through your photos.

IN the first regular audio, you’ll hear all the stories again and listen with a close ear for EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) or voices we can’t hear with our own ears.

You have two separate SBox spirit box recordings, remember that it shut off while just outside the St. Phillip’s cemetery. Here are a few things I found, I don’t listen to the entire recording so that way I don’t take out the fun for you to discover markers as well:

• 6:18 “28-nothing” Close to the Pinckney mansion site, Eliza’s birthday is December 28.

  26:35 This is a muffled voice that spreads out over several radio sweeps. Possibly disembodied, meaning that it’s not part of the radio chatter, an actual voice coming in through the radio frequency.

• 39:13 “I am so alone” (song lyric)

I did not see any anomalies worth noting in the thermal imaging video or in your photographs taken.

This was a great investigation and you all did really well. The goal here is that you have a better sense of the equipment that’s used to prove the paranormal exists and some stories around Charleston that you don’t hear too often.

Sounds like Anne Bonny’s father chastising her.

In the word list below, I was surprised to see so many terms that explained the stories I told. I’m especially interested in a very specific date that revealed itself: July 10. There are plenty of links and verifications to go through.

I didn’t see anything out of the norm with the thermal video, however, I usually try to keep a living person in view at all times for a base temperature and to allow the thermal imaging to give us an array of color; it makes the cold spots easier to see. Some places that was difficult to do considering there was only two of us.

I didn’t get a chance to use the reverse spirit box during our ghost hunt, so in your regular audio, you’ll be listening for EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) or voices we can’t hear with our naked ears. Or, to listen to the SB-7 spirit box (the one that doesn’t record on it’s own).

IN your SBox spirit box recording above, I found these few markers. This list is not all inclusive and I invite you to listen to the entire recording to see what you find:

• 0:20 “Nick” believe it or not, this happens often.
• 0:26 “his own team” We were still at Big John’s that was named after Big John Cannady of the 1947 New York Giants football team.
• 16:36 “the pirates”
• 36:12 “Peter”
• 36:35 “hey man, you okay?”
• 52:00 “it’s gonna be official”
• 1:03:41 “lonely too” we would’ve been near the St. Philip’s cemetery where I told the story of Sue Howard Hardy’s apparition.
• 1:03:51 “sometimes I” This one is interesting. It is over several channel sweeps while in the same volume and tone. In other words, I don’t feel that it’s radio chatter.
• 1:23:48 “I’m here to tell you”
• 1:25:01 “…was arrested” We were diving into the Powder Magazine where I told the story of Anne Bonny and Mary Read getting arrested for piracy.

I didn’s see any anomalies in the photos taken or in the thermal imaging video. But I am excited about the terms above in the SBox recording. As for the digital spirit box word list, I can’t conclude that “Tom” was relevant since there isn’t any other evidence to back up which Tom it was referring to, but “burning” is definitely relevant to the Pinckney Mansion site.

Although the rain hindered our equipment last night, there was still some really great evidence here.

I want to point out that first and foremost, we were all excited to see my name show up in the digital spirit box word list just before “writing” indicating that I was being called out. When I opened the list this morning, my name was missing. To not give a false positive that the name disappeared by unknown forces, I’m going to blame this on the rain hitting my phone screen and deleting the name by accident.

IN your SBox recording, here are a few things I found, keep in mind the spirit box recording ended between Lodge Alley and St. Philip’s Church.

• 5:51 “35” There was a number 35 on the 1947 New York Giants by the name of Gene Roberts. Without extra evidence to back this up, it’s simply coincidence. I dove into the term “puck” from below to see if Roberts also played hockey, the only close reference I could find was that he also played in the CFL, the Canadian Football League where hockey is also popular.
• 9:15 “let’s keep going”
• 12:13 “garden” Eliza Pinckney was a botanist
• 15:04 “collapse” this term showed up in the digital spirit box word list also. Could be referring to the Pinckney Mansion house after the fire.
• 26:50 “long tradition of (rice?)”
• 33:54 “3-2-7” Author Lorri Glover wrote a book about Eliza Pinckney last year, entitled “Eliza Lucas Pinckney: an independent woman in the age of revolution” and published in 2020. The book is exactly 327 pages. This could also be the answer to my question of “how many people did I bring with me?” with the 3 and 7 just being additives.
• 37:10 “last day at the end of the world”
• 45:55 “be careful” we would’ve been walking down the broken steps of the Pinckney mansion site at this time.
• 52:04 “ask a question”

I’m very excited about my name showing up and “Jack” from the word list below. This is obvious evidence that we had some folks hanging out with us in the rain. The “3-2-7” above is also super interesting as it could be interpreted in different ways.

In your SBox spirit box audio, here’s just a few things I caught. In my own investigations, I listen intently, writing down everything I hear, then look for messages/phrases in the list. For example, in the digital spirit box word list below, “exact tablespoon” showed up as two different words, so I researched the phrase attached to “piracy”, “Anne Bonny”, etc., based on the location we were in. I came up empty handed, but that’s the nature of the beast when searching for connections.

• 0:56 “addiction”
• 5:40 “don’t ignore”
• 6:13 “Bobby” There were several “Bob’s” that played with Big John, but no “Bobby”. Or perhaps this is referring to you, Bob.
• 10:53 “physical”
• 11:12 “Black”

• 35:12 “there are a lot” possible answer to your question of why Eliza came to Charleston.
• 35:47 “number one” reference to which president was a pallbearer at Eliza’s funeral
• 36:33 “literal sense”

This sounds like a horrible recipe, but nonetheless, the theme is food.

41:30 This is where “indigo” was thought to be heard in real time. It could be, but the audio from the camera makes it a little difficult to make out this specific word. Email me your thoughts.

1:06:00 Cold spot on Sadie’s shoulder just outside St. Philip’s Cemetery Gates. It’s a possible hoodie on her jacket, but there’s a moving cold spot beyond the gate just before the black spot on her shoulder. This is interesting indeed, take a look at it frame by frame.
