SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:02 “cloud, rain”
  • 7:12 “hundreds of years later”
  • 12:51 “the man that…conquered”
  • 17:35 “I’m outta here”
  • 26:14 “we can do that”
  • 33:04 “twenty thousand dollars” Still close to Big John’s Tavern; Big John Cannady’s first jersey number was 20.
  • 40:01 “unbelievable”
  • 46:40 “family” It’s not uncommon to see/hear the terms “family” and “home/house” while at the Pinckney Mansion site.
  • 54:20 “cow”
  • 59:40 “Boston”
  • 1:07:13 “swords are in their hips” Quite possibly the strangest phrase I’ve heard from this spirit box.
  • 1:15:42 “A plus rated” Vague, but this is the initial of Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd’s fiancée, Amanda.
  • 1:23:47 “whatever you want to call it”
  • 1:24:00 “two people”
  • 1:32:15 “it’s no secret”
  • 1:40:54 “fourteen”
  • 1:41:00 “number fourteen” Normally, when a number shows up twice, it has significant meaning. This number showed up twice relatively close to each other, but found no research to verify the significance while at this location.
  • 1:51:28 “good news”
  • 1:58:14 “seven” This number has several attachments while near Philadelphia Alley to the Powder Magazine. If heard twice, other clues to Dr. Ladd can be discovered for verification due to his birthday being July 7 (or 7/7). The seventh Vice President, John Calhoun, is buried on the western half of St. Philips Cemetery. The Powder Magazine served seven different wars. The term “seventh” was found in the digital spirit box word list below, which makes for a very confusing clue as to which reference it belongs to.
Thermal Imaging Video

No anomalies were detected during the spot check of the thermal imaging video. This video can also be used as an EVP audio resource.

Marker 1:06:28, Powder Magazine. Possible anomaly on right hand side of frame moving from right to left. This caught my attention simply because of the lack of point of destination.

This term, is in relation to George Washington acted as a pallbearer at Eliza’s funeral. It’s noteworthy, that Eliza’s husband, Charles is buried at St. Philips.

I want to point out that Ari predicted we would have 103 terms on this word list. Most of you stayed after the investigation and inquired about the number of terms. I left it running since it was providing more relevant terms you see after the 10:59 marker. The list stopped at 11:18 and I arrived at my vehicle at 11:24, so for six minutes the list did not provide another term. The total number of terms was in fact 103. Nice work, Ari.

103 Entries on the Digital Spirit Box Word list
Real Time Events based on Location:

Pinckney Mansion Site: The EMF spikes discovered on the K-II EMF Meter ranged from 15-20mG (milligauss). EMF spikes discovered on the EMF function of the Mel Meter: 3.6mG, 10mG, 12mG, 14mG, 15mG, 17.2mG, 19mG, 21mG and 22mG. The REM pod function of the Mel Meter showed lights of “blue” and “orange” indicating motion near the user. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “FR” (heard twice), “April” (heard twice, we had April on our team), “fire” (The Pinckney Mansion was destroyed in the Great Fire of 1861), “evangelist”, “maybe”.

Powder Magazine:  The REM pod function of the Mel Meter seemed to be the most active device: “purple”, “blue”, and “green” readings, some on command, with “purple” being the most steady reading. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “dog” (Anne Bonny quote to Calico Jack, “I am sorry to see you here, but if you had fought like a man, you needn’t be hanged like a dog.”), and “riddle”.

Other anomalous happenings: Ari and April both heard a lyric from their song, “1000 Years” by Christina Perry each at the same time, and at breakfast this morning, the live band at their restaurant started with the same song. The lyric heard on the spirit boxes was “I have died every day waiting for you”. This was while at The Powder Magazine, I believe.

Full Spectrum Lighting Video

Two markers to check out in the full spectrum lighting video

30:23, Lodge Alley. Orb, lower right hand corner. Due to the size, speed, movement (it first goes from left to right, then changes direction) and disappearance, this will be considered solid evidence of an orb. See screenshot below.

36:32, Lodge Alley, Orb, lower right hand corner. Questionable. Coming from right side, light orb moves from right to left. Unable to capture screenshot due to the translucence of the anomaly.

Pinckney Mansion Site: The K-II EMF Meter gave maximized readings of 20-25mG in several areas of the site. The EMF function of the Mel Meter showed spikes of 16mG and 20.9mG. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “virgin”, “I got one”, “Joe”, “Patrick” (we had Patrick on our team), and “son”.

Lodge Alley: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “David” (there were several Davids that lived in Lodge Alley, however, specifically in 1801, the year in which I commonly hear other names like Benjamin and John. See pages 12-13 of this archaeological document for the full list of residents), “rock” (we were about to discuss the Belgian Blocks, bricks made of granite), “Graham”.

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “twenty-two” (Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd from the Philadelphia Alley story was 22 years old when he died from the gunshot wound given to him during a duel with Ralph Isaacs).

Powder Magazine:  Terms heard on spirit boxes: “Pete”, “mythical”, and “Orient”.

SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:09 “more concerned”
  • 0:26 “speechless”
  • 7:40 “this moment”
  • 7:51 “open your heart” What color is the Big Red Barn?
  • 7:57 “four point five” One block away from the Pinckney Mansion site where Charles was 45 years old when he married Eliza Lucas, 22.
  • 14:42 “way to go”
  • 21:41 “Wallace”
  • 29:24 “get here”
  • 36:25 “nine two five”
  • 42:48 “security”
  • 51:06 “the blessings”
  • 51:21 “Joseph”
  • 58:17 “be afraid of the now”
  • 1:06:08 “mentioned earlier”
  • 1:12:04 “David” There were several Davids that lived in Lodge Alley during the years of residency, including David Quigyn in 1801, the same year of the other names I get from this location. See pages 12-13 of this archaeological document for the full list of residents.
  • 1:19:47 “tempted”
  • 1:25:25 “law firm” Ralph Isaacs, the dueling opponent of Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd, was an attorney.
  • 1:31:14 “himself…middle of road” See “Island” below in the digital spirit box word list.
  • 1:38:39 “this love” (song lyric)
  • 1:38:59 “seven” This number is often heard between Philadelphia Alley and the Powder Magazine and has several significant relations. Dr. Ladd’s birthday is July 7, or 7/7, so the digit is often heard twice. John C. Calhoun, our 7th Vice President is buried in the western half of St. Phillip’s Cemetery, and the Powder Magazine served seven different wars.
  • 1:45:31 “with respect”
  • 1:45:42 “committed murder”
  • 1:52:27 “seven” Our second seven, indicating it is more than likely related to Dr. Ladd’s birthday of July 7.

No anomalies were detected during my spot check of this thermal imaging video, but I will say this is probably the steadiest footage I’ve ever gone through from this camera. This video can also be used as an EVP audio.

Real Time Events based on Location:

Pinckney Mansion Site: New K-II EMF Meter gave spikes of 15-25mG (milligauss). 25mG is this device’s max reading. The EMF function of the Mel Meter showed spikes of 4.7mG, 6.5mG, 10.1mG, 15.4mG, 18.5mG, 27mG, 34mG, and 42mG. These are fantastic numbers for this site, an average of about 20-24mG is seen nightly. Terms heard while investigating the site: “one more”, “house” (home/house and family are often heard here), “falcon”, “children”, “individual”, “burned down” (The Pinckney Mansion  burned down in the Great Fire of 1861), “earthquake” (also on the digital spirit box word list), “servants” (there were servant quarters on site for the Pinckney Mansion).

Lodge Alley: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “Robert”, “David” (see David in my SBox findings), “Steven”, “Glen”, “Bartow”, “Joe”, “Rose”, “profit”, “John” (John is one of the common names heard here along with Benjamin).

Philadelphia Alley: The number “41” or “44” was heard. If it was “44”, it’s a possible relation to Charles Pinckney, buried on the eastern side of St. Phillip’s around the corner from Philadelphia Alley, who married Eliza Lucas in 1744.

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “Donald”, “New Year’s”, “Annie” (although we can tie this name to Anne Bonny rather easily, I’d like to point out something else. Often times, I will receive nationalities of people specific to guests on my tour either from the current investigation or for the next investigation. Uncanny, but it happens often. Along with nationalities, names often appear to us in the same fashion. I’d like to point out that there is indeed an “Annie” on my tour for the 29th), “it’s dark here”, “liberty” (it was Lodge Alley where I found this term relevant. There was a group called the “Liberty Boys” that was part of the Masonic Lodge there. In this location, it’s a possible relation to the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia as mentioned in real time, we were half a block away from Philadelphia Alley, a stretch, but noteworthy), “outlive me”, “twenty”, “local hero”, “September”.

Powder Magazine:  The REM Pod function of the Mel Meter showed multiple colors in the southeastern corner of the space next to the Powder Magazine. Terms heard: “big news”, “family man”, “four years”, “four ninety-nine”, “French War” (not only is the Powder Magazine in the French Quarter of Charleston, but it also served in the French and Indian War), “hallelujah”, “are you a boy or girl”, “short hair”, “drag”, “eighty-seven”, “major health”, “Joe Simpson”, “all responders”, “stealth”, “it’s time”, and “he’s a rat”.

SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:35 “hello”
  • 6:01 “he has to be gone”
  • 11:25 “thing that you want”
  • 17:20 “ocean’s eleven” The Great Fire of 1861 took place on December 11, 1861. We would’ve been one block away from the Pinckney Mansion site at this time.
  • 17:29 “your heart” What color is the Big Red Barn?
  • 21:02 “twenty-six years old”
  • 26:40 “heart’s open” What color is the Big Red Barn?
  • 30:16 “got married” We were discussing Eliza Lucas’s and Charles Pinckney’s marriage ages at this time.
  • 34:52 “nothing they can do”
  • 39:27 “that’s mine” Kind of a stretch, but I would’ve been introducing the indigo seed trigger object around this time frame.
  • 43:48 “surgery”
  • 49:38 “the end” (song lyric)
  • 57:49 “when the time comes”
  • 1:04:25 “colonel”
  • 1:09:44 “people are falling” We would’ve been exiting Lodge Alley at this time heading towards Philadelphia Alley where duels occurred.
  • 1:16:05 “draw” Near/At Philadelphia Alley where duels occurred.
  • 1:22:30 “fifty-one, ninety-two”
  • 1:27:15 “ahead” (a head) With all the clues around Blackbeard at the Powder Magazine, this could be a reference to his death: he was beheaded to prove that he was finally defeated.
  • 1:32:40 “start living”
  • 1:37:40 “1980”
  • 1:42:36 “make it happen”
  • 1:54:44 “soothe my soul” (song lyric)
  • 2:00:31 “business”
  • 2:06:29 “need to load” Another stretch, but we were at the Powder Magazine which held gunpowder for seven different wars.
Thermal Imaging Video

This video can also be used as an EVP Audio. See the screenshot captions below for the questionable anomalies caught during my spot check.

Lodge Alley, marker 55:52. For about 30 seconds of the video, the black cold spot in this screenshot seems to move about, at one point moving from left to right. This would’ve been aimed at East Bay Street based on the angle.
Powder Magazine, marker 1:17:59. Cold anomalies varying in temperature from 24.3° to 34.9°. At this angle, there are buildings in the way of the sky, and the old Bocci’s restaurant is where this “blue dot” would be hitting. Bocci’s sits at the corner of Church and Cumberland and has it’s own ghost stories. It has been closed for years.

4/27/2022 – 11:01 PM: RESEARCH (.48)

4/27/2022 – 11:04 PM: STOMACH (.45) Anne Bonny is said to have killed a servant, when she was just a child, with a knife to the belly.

Real Time Events based on Location:

Big Red Barn: Spikes on the EMF function of the Mel Meter reached 3.7mG (milligauss), 5.6mG, 8.7mG. Significant readings for this location.

Pinckney Mansion Site: EMF spikes on Mel Meter: 3.8mG, 5.1mG, 8.3mG, 12.4mG, 17.5mG, 157mG (wowzers!), and the largest reading I’ve ever heard/seen 214mG!! Nice catch! The REM pod function of the Mel Meter gave readings of “green”, “blue” and on two occasions gave a range of all colors in an escalating format.

Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “marriage” (ties in with many clues from the SBox findings above along with the digital spirit box word list), “babies” (George?), “burn down” (the Pinckney Mansion burned in the Great fire of 1861, see link above under “ocean’s eleven”), “knees” (Thomas Pinckney was shot in the left kneecap during the Battle of Camden and was captured by the British), “roses”, “wheat” (I found where Thomas Pinckney [Eliza’s son] had to procure a threshing machine, used for wheat, for Thomas Jefferson and George Washington).

Lodge Alley: Terms heard on spirit box: “John” (I commonly hear/see the names Benjamin and John every 6-7 weeks, this investigation took place during that 6-7 week timespan, see the previous investigation to see the name Ben Simmons and it’s relation. See pages 12-13 of this archaeological document to see the full list of residents), “flowers” (just as we were all smelling Charleston’s magnolia scent), “water” (most residents in Lodge Alley were mariners, or fisherman, others were coopers, or those who build wooden barrels used for butter churning).

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “fool” (while discussing Stede Bonnet and how he was a joke among Blackbeard’s men), “picture” (in relation to the photographic apparition caught of Sue Howard Hardy).

Powder Magazine:  REM pod function of the Mel Meter showed all colors, many on command. Terms heard on spirit boxes: “hello”, “Anne” (an obvious relation to Anne Bonny), “what?” (SB11-ANC), “Edward” and “Teach” (together this gives you the FULL name of Blackbeard), “suffocated”, “die hard”, “head” (Blackbeard’s head was used as proof of his destruction), “water”.

SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:06 “Michelle”
  • 5:42 “superhero”
  • 10:53 “patient”
  • 14:49 “eight month”
  • 19:01 “it doesn’t last”
  • 19:15 “life of the spirit”
  • 26:21 “can’t take it”
  • 31:25 “house” (song lyric) It’s not uncommon to see/hear the term “home/house” and “family” as we enter the Pinckney Mansion site.
  • 36:06 “old friend”
  • 41:14 “money”
  • 47:16 “confidence” (song lyric)
  • 52:30 “justice”
  • 1:00:02 “basically rise from the dead”
  • 1:00:14 “four” Leaving the Pinckney Mansion site, Eliza and Charles Pinckney had four children.
  • 1:00:16 “David” There was a David, mariner, that lived in Lodge Alley. No other clues discovered as of yet to confirm this. See pages 12-13 of this archaeological document for the full list of residents.
  • 1:06:58 “Jack” There are no Jacks on the resident list for Lodge Alley.
  • 1:10:23 “Ben Simmons” Wowzers! This one works two-fold. We discussed the two common names I hear while in Lodge Alley; Benjamin and John, two gentleman that lived here in 1801. Second, Lodge Alley was once known as Simmons Alley, named after John Simmons who once owned land inside the alley.
  • 1:15:20 “book” Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd from our Philadelphia Alley story wrote poetry during his time in Charleston. His sister, Elizabeth, published his work into one volume after his death. The Literary Remains of Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd.
  • 1:15:25 “briar church” We were coming up on Church Street, along with Dr. Ladd’s address being 59 Church Street, otherwise known as The Thomas Rose House.
  • 1:20:42 “your heart”
  • 1:26:00 “eight three six seven” The number “seven” is often heard around Philadelphia Alley, usually twice, due to Dr. Ladd’s birthday being July 7 or 7/7.
  • 1:30:41 “twenty-seven” Your second “seven”.
  • 1:35:13 “Orleans”
  • 1:39:39 “gallow”
  • 1:43:40 “thirty-two”

Real Time Events based on Location:

Big Red Barn: Spikes on the EMF function of the Mel Meter showed 3.7mG (milligauss) and 8.5mG. The 8.5mG reading is a bit high for this location on this device.

Pinckney Mansion Site: The EMF function of the Mel Meter readings: 3.6mG, 6.4mG, 8.8mG, 10.3mG, 14.8mG. The REM pod function of the Mel Meter showed indicators of “purple” and “yellow” and at one point went through all colors twice,  indicating motion near the user. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “Michael” (heard twice), “1500s”, “blue” (the dye produced by indigo), “dragon”, “church”, “take a shot” (still relatively close to Big John’s Tavern), “Jamie”, “ninety-eight”, and “Bible”.

Lodge Alley: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “million dollar question”, “I love you”, “Kevin”, “mother”, “four”.

Philadelphia Alley: The names “Debbie” and “Jack” were heard on the SBox spirit box. Jack being relatable to getting closer to the Powder Magazine where we discussed Anne Bonny and her many lovers, one being Calico Jack Rackham.

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: The term “church” was heard, obvious relation to St. Phillip’s Church on Church Street.

Powder Magazine:  No EMF spikes were discovered while at this site. Terms heard on spirit boxes: “Bonny” (definite relation to Anne Bonny), “sleep”, “the Grizzlies” (I don’t know of any family of bears nearby, but hey, it was heard in real time).

  • 25:31 “walking through”
  • 29:42 “the working man”
  • 30:02 “perfect children”
  • 37:02 “twenty years and older” Vague, considering there are no other direct clues to Big John Cannady of the 1947 New York Giants, but his jersey number was 20.
  • 37:10 “family” The terms “family” and “home” are often heard as we enter the Pinckney Mansion Site.
  • 44:00 “G” George Washington’s initials are often heard due to his role as a pallbearer at Eliza Lucas’s funeral. His full name would be a bit difficult to push through a spirit box, even though, this is exactly how I learned about his role as pallbearer; by hearing his full name twice in one week.
  • 48:55 “want you to sign” Charles Cotesworth Pinckney and Charles Pinckney were signers of the Constitution.
  • 48:59 “well-known”
  • 55:44 “beginning to learn”
  • 1:00:08 “James” There was a James Bean that lived in Lodge Alley. See the full list of resident names here on pages 12-13 of this archaeological document.

  • 1:14:21 “no respect”
  • 1:18:40 “surely”

  • 1:37:41 “at the end…slow down”
  • 1:43:25 “two one” Mary Read died in that Jamaican jail in 1721.

SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:24 “sixty percent off”
  • 5:36 “the law”
  • 10:41 “first time” (song lyric)
  • 15:46 “women”
  • 21:10 “not knowing”
  • 26:59 “our house” (song lyric) Entering the Pinckney Mansion site at this time.
  • 34:54 “I belong because”
  • 37:34 “six”
  • 41:42 “May 6” Though the digit is incorrect, Eliza Lucas died May 26, 1793. Perhaps the “twenty” heard in real time pieces this together moreseo than being tied to Big John.
  • 47:52 “seed” We were literally working with indigo seeds as a trigger object for Eliza Lucas.
  • 52:12 “help me get my life back”
  • 59:31 “number two” Eliza Lucas was the second wife of Charles Pinckney.
  • 1:03:59 “plethora of obstacles”
  • 1:09:21 “forever” (song lyric)
  • 1:13:14 “find myself a new place” (song lyric) Near/At Philadelphia Alley, where Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd moved to Charlestowne from the state of Rhode Island.
  • 1:17:40 “my glory”
  • 1:22:20 “I am here”
  • 1:27:11 “seven eight one” The number seven is often heard between Philadelphia Alley and the Powder Magazine for several reasons. Dr. Ladd, from the dueling story, has a birthday of July 7, or 7/7, and our 7th Vice President, John Calhoun, is buried on the western side of St. Phillip’s Cemetery. It often takes a secondary clue as to which this belongs to, but if the number is heard twice (which I believe Tom also heard it), the double sevens often refers straight to Dr. Ladd.
  • 1:32:55 “Mississippi Alabama”
  • 1:39:03 “fourteen” Near St. Phillip’s Cemetery where Charles Pinckney (Eliza’s husband) is buried. This number was also heard in real time at the Pinckney Mansion site. Eliza and Charles were married for 14 years before Charles’s death in 1758.
  • 1:44:04 “tunnel” We discussed the tunnel underneath the Pirate House that was filled in the 1990’s.
  • 1:51:51 “spirit”

Real Time Events based on Location:

Big Red Barn: Steady spikes of 15-20mG (milligauss) and one huge spike of 25mG discovered on the K-II EMF Meter. 25mG is this device’s max reading.

Pinckney Mansion Site: The K-II EMF Meter showed spikes between 10-25mG throughout the site. The EMF function of the Mel Meter showed spikes of 2.8mG, 5.8mG, and 10.8mG. Terms heard in real time along with spirit box findings: “Lambert” (Charles’s first wife was named Eliza Lamb), “fire” (The Pinckney Mansion caught fire in the Great Fire of 1861), “testosterone”, “hello”, “not heard”, “that’s what I need”, “medical and dental”, “fourteen” (heard here and at St. Phillip’s near Charles Pinckney’s gravesite. Refers to the number of years Eliza and Charles were married or possibly a definitive date of George Lucas’s death), “twenty” (still close to Big John’s Tavern, John Cannady’s first jersey number was 20), “seventh”, “Rodriguez”, “children”, “tall oak”, “welcome back”, “fella with a message”.

Lodge Alley: No EMF spikes discovered. Terms heard: “Carlos”, “Irish” (it’s quite possible that the residents of Lodge Alley were of Irish descent, it’s also possible that as we were getting closer to the Powder Magazine to discuss Irish-American pirate, Anne Bonny), “fallen”. See pages 12-13 of this archaeological document for the full list of resident names.

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: “hello” and “camp” were heard while in this area.

Powder Magazine:  Significant readings of 20-25mG readings on the K-II EMF Meter due to the lack of EMF normally caught here. Also, the EMF function of the Mel Meter showed a huge spike for this space of 16.4mG. The REM pod function of the Mel Meter showed signals of “purple” indicating motion in the space. Terms heard: “wall” (we were discussing the original Charlestown wall which ran up Cumberland Street), “pain”, “strength”, “I’m showing sign” , “burn”, “go away”, “we’ll keep you out”.

Noteworthy: The digital spirit box word list will often give the nationality of someone on the current investigation or on a future (usually the next) investigation. These nationalities are usually depicted outside of Caucasian American. The term “Indian” showed up on the list for April 21.

Real Time Events based on Location:

Big Red Barn: Spikes of 15mG (milligauss) were discovered on the K-II EMF Meter.

Pinckney Mansion Site: The EMF function of the Mel Meter gave spikes of 5.3mG, 7.4mG, 10.1mG, 10.3mG, 16.9mG, 20.2mG The REM pod function of the Mel Meter showed a flickering “green” reading, indicating motion near the user. The K-II EMF Meter was consistent with a 15-25mG range throughout the site. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “Laura”, “forty-four” (Eliza and Charles were married in 1744), “marriage” (confirming the “44” that was heard), “crab”, “thirty”, “there will be a person”, “worship God”.

Lodge Alley: The phrase “filled with spirit” was heard on an SBox spirit box.

Powder Magazine:  REM Pod function of the Mel Meter showed  flickering “green” and two “purple” indicators showing motion near the user. Terms heard on spirit boxes: “fire”, “twenty-seven”, “testosterone”

EVP Audio

The audio above is the regular audio that has the stories told during your investigation which should be used as a reference along with listening for any EVPs that may have come through.

SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:01 “plan”
  • 5:39 “raised”
  • 9:51 “through a decade”
  • 15:38 “what do you believe, what do you want”
  • 20:05 “stop”
  • 24:36 “father and son” Charles Pinckney named one of his children after him: Charles Cotesworth Pinckney.
  • 24:41 “born in February” Charles Cotesworth Pinckney (Eliza’s son) was born in February, it’s also noteworthy that he was 79 years old at death (we heard 1979 in real time). One more note, I’m highlighting this because the year “1979” was heard in real time; my birthday is February 28, 1979. I can’t recall a time where something so personal to me has ever come up during a tour, aside from my name which also shows up later in a disembodied voice.
  • 25:06 “you already know”
  • 28:51 “father’s word” (song lyric)
  • 34:50 “twenty-one”
  • 39:50 “ten or fifteen” There’s that number ten again (“ten guys” was heard in real time). October being the tenth month, Charles Pinckney (Eliza’s nephew) was born in October and died in October. The fact that “ten” showed up twice confirms this.
  • 39:57 “to love one another”
  • 45:13 “nominated” Plenty of politicians in the Pinckney family.
  • 49:39 “target practice”
  • 55:11 “a hundred and forty-four” Eliza Lucas and Charles Pinckney were married in 1744.
  • 59:49 “sacrifice”
  • 1:04:07 “are the dead who died”
  • 1:07:21 “woman scorned”
  • 1:11:12 “where’s Nick” (segregated and possibly disembodied, needs further analysis). It’s not uncommon to see/hear my name during an investigation. I can’t recall ever seeing/hearing any version of my name in Lodge Alley.
  • 1:15:59 “just a dream” (song lyric)
  • 1:23:00 “American”
  • 1:29:43 “beauty”
  • 1:36:22 “seven seven” This was also heard as “seventy-seven” in real time later. We would’ve been at Philadelphia Alley at this time where Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd’s birthday is July 7 or 7/7.
  • 1:40:50 “December” We also heard “twelve months” while at St. Phillip’s Church where we discussed the apparition of Sue Howard Hardy. Sue’s birthday is December 11, 1858.
  • 1:48:35 “fifty-seven” This one just seems uncanny. There are now two numbers in Sue’s birthday that are one digit off: We heard: “December” “twelve” “fifty-seven”, whereas her death record shows she died December 11, 1858.
  • 1:53:47 “always here”
  • 2:00:38 “world traveler” Vague, but we were discussing female pirate, Anne Bonny during this timeframe.

Real Time Events based on Location:

Big Red Barn: The K-II Meter gave readings of 15mG (milligauss) during our time here. The EMF function of the Mel Meter gave a spike of 2.6mG.

Pinckney Mansion Site: The EMF function of the Mel Meter escalated in the following sequence, but also gave various readings in between: 11.7mG, 12.1mG, 14.7mG, 17.3mG. The K-II EMF Meter gave consistent spikes of 20-25mG throughout the site. Terms heard on various spirit boxes: “illness”, “second” (Eliza Lucas was the second wife named Eliza from Charles), “seven”, “wait” and “don’t go” were heard approximately in the same are of the site), “1979” (See February in the SBox findings), “let her go”, “anger”, “emergency”, “three”, “flu”, “Charles” (father and son), “two” (heard several times, possibly relatable to the age of Eliza at time of marriage, 22. Eliza Lucas was also born in 1722), “ten guys” (see “ten or fifteen” in SBox findings), “Civil War” (ironic due to the years of the Civil War 1861-64. The Pinckney Mansion burned in the Great Fire of 1861), “fire”.

Lodge Alley: No EMF spikes recorded at this site. Terms heard along the way and inside the alley: “Amy”, and “Mildred”.

Philadelphia Alley: Terms caught on the spirit boxes: “church” (Dr. Ladd stayed at 59 Church Street, aka, the Thomas Rose House), “shot” (obvious relation to the duels that occurred here), “saint” (it’s not uncommon to hear religious terms as we near St. Phillip’s Church).

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “twelve months” (See “December” in SBox findings), “the Lord’s table” (more religious terms near St. Phillip’s).

Powder Magazine: REM pod function of the Mel Meter gave various readings indicating motion near the user. The K-II EMF Meter gave spikes of 20mG. The K-II spikes and motion are anomalous due to the lack of this type of activity seen here. Terms heard on spirit boxes: “ocean” (very common to hear terms relatable to water here when discussing pirates), “J” (several “J” names in Anne Bonny’s tale: James, John, Jack) “Jimmy”, “buried”, “sweet” (vague, but sugar cane was a major crop for pirates), “yes”, “hazard”, “cause”, “dead”, “seventy-seven” (See “seven seven” heard in SBox).

SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:44 “this team” Vague, but we were near Big John’s Tavern, named after 1947 New York Giants player, John Cannady.
  • 4:42 “and destroy”
  • 5:00 “not that easy”
  • 11:02 “Wilson”
  • 16:12 “wanted to survive”
  • 19:28 “gift”
  • 23:46 “think about what happened”
  • 27:52 “ninety-three” Eliza Lucas died in 1793 at the age of 70.
  • 32:57 “crusade”
  • 36:38 “seventy-five dollars” A stretch, but you have to say “seventy” to say “seventy-five”. Seems like there was a correction below with “70,000”. Eliza Lucas died at the age of 70.
  • 36:46 “someone’s heart”
  • 45:20 “war”
  • 50:35 “seventy-thousand people” See “seventy-five dollars” and “ninety-three”.
  • 56:47 “huge effort”
  • 1:01:42 “baker” On our way to Lodge Alley where there were mariners and bakers that primarily lived in this location. See pages 12-13 of this archaeological document for the full list of residents. Ties in with “fisherman” caught on the digital spirit box word list and the name “Peter” heard in real time who was a “captain” according to the report.
  • 1:10:32 “humans”
  • 1:15:39 “criminal”
  • 1:20:28 “right here”
  • 1:24:30 “universe”
  • 1:24:36 “church bells” We were at St. Phillip’s Church on Church Street. It’s not uncommon to see/hear religious terms around this site.
  • 1:28:59 “nine one seven” I first looked at this as a date (September 17), but the Charleston Almanac website I dive into dates is down. I will note that it’s not uncommon to hear the number “seven” between Philadelphia Alley and the Powder Magazine for one of two reasons: first, Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd’s birthday is July 7 (7/7), whereas the number is heard twice for verification, the other reason is for John Calhoun, our 7th Vice President who is buried on the western side of St. Phillip’s Cemetery.
  • 1:29:12 “enemy”
  • 1:33:27 “motorcycles, boats” It’s not uncanny to hear terms around water and watercraft around the Powder Magazine when discussing female pirate, Anne Bonny.
  • 1:36:59 “castaway” (song lyric) More water terms.
  • 1:41:35 “five zero eight” Interesting indeed. This term came up during the April 10th investigation as “May eighth” and I thought the date sounded familiar. Here’s what I wrote in their notes, take note, we were near Charles Pinckney’s grave (father of Charles Cotesworth who is buried at St. Michael’s) at this time: “·  When researching this date in Charleston and relation to the Pinckneys, I found that during the Siege of Charlestown in 1780, Col. Grimke declared “no more Meat served out”. (the term “meat”, which we all laughed about, was discovered on the digital spirit box word list just one block before the Pinckney Mansion site). Charles Cotesworth (Eliza’s son) was one of the dissenters to the siege.”
  • 1:48:12 “until midnight”
  • 1:48:13 “June 9th” Unfortunately, the almanac website I use is down today, but I’m placing the link here anyway for you to reference back to: https://www.markjonesbooks.com
  • 1:51:39 “Charles” We were near Charles Pinckney’s grave across the street on the eastern side of St. Phillip’s Cemetery.

4/19/2022 – 10:02 PM: WALTER (.46)
4/19/2022 – 10:03 PM: NUT (.59) The term “almond” was heard in real time. Here’s what I found in relation to the Pinckney Mansion site. On page 219 of the original Eliza Lucas Letters to Friends pdf: “

^*I thought the jilants you received w- he a
pretty ornament for my Lord’s Greenhouse. ‘Tis the Pimento Royal and hears the most noble bunch
of flowers I ever saw. The main stem of the bunchis a foot and a half or two foot long, with some
Imndreds of white flowers hanging pendant upon
it; ‘t is a native of this Country, but I doubt if it will do out of doors in England.”
By this she evidently means the PalmettoRoyal, the very appropriate local name of which is the ” Spanish Bayonet,” so called from the sharp, hard, dagger-like point formedby its terminal leaves. A spire of these ivory
bells, rising from the encircling spikes andfilling the air with heavy almond fragrance,
is indeed a beautiful, picturesque object.

Real Time Events based on Location:

Big Red Barn: Readings from the K-II EMF Meter stayed consistent of 15-20mG (milligauss) and raised a spike to 25mG (this device’s max reading) as we left the site. The EMF function of the Mel Meter gave a spike of 4.1mG at the same time of the 25mG reading on the K-II.

Pinckney Mansion Site: Readings from the K-II EMF Meter stayed high at 20-25mG throughout the site. EMF spikes on the Mel Meter showed 3.6mG and 4.2mG. (These readings are not very high for the average readings of this location). Terms heard on spirit boxes: “children”, “liar”, “eight”, “nine zero four” (four being the number of children by Eliza and Charles), “almond” (See “nut” in the digital spirit box list), “Nick” (possibly. From the SB-11 ANC spirit box), “smoke” (The Pinckney Mansion burned in the Great Fire of 1861, see “twelve” above for the link), “Washington” (George Washington served as a pallbearer to Eliza Lucas’s funeral), “John” (Still near Big John’s Tavern named after John Cannady).

Lodge Alley: No EMF spikes recorded at this site. Terms heard along the way and inside the alley: “forty-five thousand”, “Mom”, “Elliott”, “Alexa”, “Peter” (yes, there was a Peter that lived here, see link in “baker” of the SBox findings), “fisherman” (you’ll notice in the list that many of the residents here were mariners).

Philadelphia Alley: Terms heard along the way and outside the alley: “Jack” (we were getting closer to the Powder Magazine where we discussed Calico Jack), “gun” and “shot” (both terms related to the duels that occurred in this alley).

Powder Magazine: Most exciting action of the night came from the REM pod function of the Mel Meter showing off all colors indicating motion near the user. Terms heard on various spirit boxes: “Tom”, “brick” (still close to Philadelphia Alley where we discussed the bricks’ age, see the link in Philadelphia Alley to view the handprinted brick), “thirty-five”, “one oh three point five”, “treasure” (a pirate term if I ever saw one!), “four three two one”, “three hundred thousand” (Anne Bonny’s trial for piracy was over three hundred years ago), “memory” (SB11-ANC), “Jack” (yet again!!), “Maria”.

SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:18 “someone else”
  • 5:30 “I am shocked”
  • 13:33 “some people think that means”
  • 18:23 “magic” (song lyric)
  • 21:22 “turn the corner”
  • 25:38 “distance”
  • 25:47 “too hot” (Bruno Mars song lyric) Moving from the Big Red Barn Lot to the Pinckney Mansion, both Big John’s Tavern and the Pinckney Mansion underwent fires. At this point, it is indiscernible as to which location this belongs to.
  • 26:06 “I went in”
  • 31:00 “athletes” Obviously, still close to Big John’s Tavern, founded by Big John Cannady of the 1947 New York Giants.
  • 36:19 “John” Big John Cannady.
  • 40:40 “red fire light” (Queen song lyric) Here we have both “red” (what color is the Big Red Barn?) and “fire” while in the Pinckney Mansion site. The Pinckney home did burn in the Great Fire of 1861.
  • 45:55 “bucket”
  • 46:42 “going to see them”
  • 51:16 “promises” This term is often heard near St. Phillip’s due to Charles Pinckney’s burial site, but also works at the Pinckney Mansion site. Charles Pinckney introduced the Pinckney Promise to the Constitution.
  • 55:35 “work together”
  • 1:03:45 “military”
  • 1:03:54 “church”
  • 1:04:16 “Johnson Mall” We were in Lodge Alley at this time where we discussed the names I often hear of “Benjamin” and “John” who both lived in Lodge Alley in 1801. John’s last name was “Johnson”. See pages 12-13 of this archaeological document for the full list of residents.
  • 1:11:37 “Chicago”
  • 1:17:35 “reference”
  • 1:21:26 “the lion and the lamb” Eliza Lamb Pinckney (Charles Pinckney’s first wife) is also buried at St. Phillip’s Church.
  • 1:31:39 “I’m not surprised”
  • 1:31:48 “leaves the church” We would’ve been leaving Church Street to go to the Powder Magazine.
  • 1:36:31 “the second” There are a lot of ties to John C. Calhoun during this investigation. Calhoun’s second term as Vice President was under Andrew Jackson and ended in 1832.
  • 1:41:21 “all of them”
  • 1:45:13 “ready”

At marker 11:17, while at the Powder Magazine, an orb comes from Fisher’s head and moves upward. I’ve debunked any possibility of an insect due to the lack of origin of this anomaly and that if it were an insect, we would’ve see it moving further to the edge of the “purple” lighting area, which it did not. Also, there were no other “insect” sightings while at this location. This will be classified as a floating orb anomaly.

Real Time Events based on Location:

Big Red Barn: A reading of 15mG (milligauss) was discovered on the K-II EMF Meter. The phrase “look behind” was also heard twice on a spirit box.

Pinckney Mansion Site: K-II EMF Meter gave consistent spikes of 20-25mG (this device’s max reading), while the EMF function of the Mel Meter had spikes of 4.0mG, 23.6mG, 28.6mG. These are significant spikes for a space without electrical wiring. The REM Pod function of the Mel Meter showed “yellow” and a “flickering green” detection indicating motion near the user.  Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “someone’s husband”, “forty-two”, “forty-three”, “five five four” (vague, but four being the number of children by Charles and Eliza), “Dr. David Jones”, “John” (Big John’s Tavern only one block away), “twelve child” (The Great Fire of 1861 took place in December and Eliza Lucas’s birthday is in December), “home” (this is a common term for this site along with “family”), “lamb” was thought to be heard coming into the Pinckney Mansion site.

Lodge Alley: Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “help”, “the world”, “Burt”, “Lisa”, “Danny” (we did have a Dan among our team), “Edna”. See “Johnson Mall” in the SBox findings for the link to the full list of residents.

Philadelphia Alley: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “five candidates” (Holy cow! Between Thomas Pinckney and Charles Cotesworth Pinckney, sons of Eliza Lucas, there were five elections that they ran for president, Charles ran 1796, 1800, 1804, 1808, and Thomas ran in 1796 [yes, there were two brothers competing in the same election year of 1796]), “Caroline”, “Johnson” (see Johnson Mall above), “Jason Smith”.

Powder Magazine: The REM Pod function of the Mel Meter gave “blue” indicators near the end of our investigation showing motion near the user. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “Knife” (Anne Bonny is said to have killed one her servants with a knife to the belly), “Paul”, “1832” and “John” (with John Calhoun, our 7th Vice President buried on the other side of the brick wall, his vice presidency ended in 1832. It doesn’t get any clearer than this, folks. Also see “Andrew” on the digital spirit box word list).

SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:24 “you have rights”
  • 5:44 “odd couple”
  • 5:56 “1977”
  • 6:01 “forty-seven” Big John Cannady was a football player for the 1947 New York Giants. We were still near Big John’s Tavern.
  • 10:27 “church”
  • 15:38 “to be an apostle” A bit of a stretch, but “John” was one of the apostles in the Bible.
  • 21:57 “Miami”
  • 28:19 “process”
  • 34:24 “life goes on” (song lyric)
  • 41:55 “twenty-two” Eliza Lucas was 22 when she married Charles, 45.
  • 42:42 “John” Still only one block away from Big John’s Tavern.
  • 47:44 “W” I’ve seen this at this location before with other clues to George Washington, our first president, who served as a pallbearer at Eliza’s funeral.
  • 54:31 “seven”
  • 1:01:20 “hammer”
  • 1:06:44 “the magnificent”
  • 1:08:09 “lost”
  • 1:14:56 “enjoy the outdoors”
  • 1:15:04 “half the man” (song lyric)
  • 1:21:10 “on stage”
  • 1:28:58 “halfway between”
  • 1:35:09 “three zero”
  • 1:42:38 “J” During our discussion about the lovers of Anne Bonny, several of those begin with “J” (James, John [Jack],). At this point, it is indiscernible as to which this initial belongs to, if any.
  • 1:49:09 “come back”
  • 1:50:01 “five nine” Still only one block from Philadelphia Alley where we discussed Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd who lived at 59 Church Street, aka, the Thomas Rose House.

4/15/2022 – 10:17 PM: AU (.54) This one seems odd and out of place, so I dug a little deeper. I looked into the Whistling Doctor story, looking for his fiancee’s full name, thinking this might be her initials (if you recall, her first name was Amanda). No version of this story gives her full name, and only notes that she came from a wealthy family.

4/15/2022 – 10:26 PM: YELLOW (.47) Still near/at Philadelphia Alley, we discussed Dr. Ladd’s residence at 59 Church Street. It is indeed a yellow house. This is not the first time “yellow” has shown up here. Given we have “59” found in the SBox findings, the term “home” or “house” usually accompanies this color.

4/15/2022 – 10:28 PM: RATES (.57)
4/15/2022 – 10:28 PM: GRIEF (.51) Very vague, but we would’ve been discussing the stillborn child of Sue Howard Hardy at this time. (Warning: cursed photo in link).

4/15/2022 – 10:53 PM: CONCERN (.47)
4/15/2022 – 10:56 PM: NICK (.45) Probably the best “clue” seen in this set of data. It’s not uncommon to see my name at the Powder Magazine. There are three ties that this name could belong to: 1. Me, my name is often seen/heard in the more active areas like the Powder Magazine and the Pinckney Mansion site where intelligent spirits can be found, 2. The judge of Anne Bonny’s trial was Nicholas Lawes, and 3. The Nicholas Trott house is located on the opposite side of the Powder Magazine. Trott was a Chief Justice that lived in Charleston.
4/15/2022 – 10:57 PM: WANDER (.45)

Real Time Events based on Location:

Pinckney Mansion Site: Readings from the K-II EMF Meter maxed throughout the site at 20-25mG (milligauss). The EMF function of the Mel Meter showed spikes of 7.1mG, 10.2mG, 16.2mG, 26.7mG, and 28.3mG. Terms heard on spirit boxes: “Eliza” (before we entered the site, obvious relation to Eliza Lucas), “blue” (heard several times in relation to the indigo crops of Eliza Lucas), “and all of us”, “lit it up” (this occurred after Zack accidentally flashed me with the flashlight function of the Mel Meter).

Lodge Alley: Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “collect”, “twenty-one”, “international”, “city”, “Portugal”, “horse” (noteworthy that the alley is only wide enough for a horse and carriage to pass through).

Philadelphia Alley: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “nine eight two five”, “twenty-one”, “warning”.

Powder Magazine: No EMF spikes from the K-II EMF Meter. A spike of 7.2mG discovered when packing up the Mel Meter. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “candle in the wind”, “she’s always a woman to me” (little bit of humor here due to Anne Bonny’s cross-dressing to fit in with male pirates), “paranormal investigation”, “two” (noteworthy, that the term “both” showed up on the digital spirit box at this location), “figure”, “warning”.

SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:26 “most people”
  • 7:31 “came home”
  • 12:34 “what is that like”
  • 19:26 “free will”
  • 24:06 “spotlight”
  • 30:01 “thank you”
  • 35:36 “appreciate that”
  • 40:45 “representative” Noteworthy that “government” came up on the digital spirit box word list below. Many members of the Pinckney family were politicians including ambassadors and governors. “Government representative”.
  • 45:59 “one more mile” This one is interesting only because the peninsula of Charleston is only two miles wide. We would’ve been discussing the Great Fire of 1861 which destroyed the Pinckney Mansion around this time. The fire covered one and 1/7 of a mile.
  • 53:14 “and these words”
  • 1:01:42 “happen in the bush”
  • 1:07:10 “time and space”
  • 1:13:42 “remember your past”
  • 1:20:34 “seven” This is often heard near Philadelphia Alley, nearly on a nightly basis. If the number is heard twice, it can be referred to Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd’s birthday of July 7, (7/7). If heard only once, it can be referred to John C. Calhoun, our seventh Vice President, buried on the western side of St. Phillip’s Cemetery, of course, with another clue to verify this relation.
  • 1:28:30 “girlfriend” (song lyric)
  • 1:36:04 “dealt with me”
  • 1:43:24 “doctor” Still near Philadelphia Alley where we discussed the duel between Dr. Ladd and Ralph Isaacs.
  • 1:44:21 “one hundred and twenty-two” Anne Bonny’s death is April 22, 1782.
  • 1:50:26 “drown myself” It’s not uncommon to see/hear terms themed with water when discussing pirates.
Thermal Imaging Video

In the thermal imaging video from marker 36:20 through 36:34, you can see a cold area growing behind our team of ghost hunters. This begins to take shape of three “bodies” standing behind our team. It’s noteworthy that only three of the four children by Eliza and Charles lived to see adulthood.

In regards to the temperature not showing a significant drop (I normal would expect a 15° to 20° drop), the camera moved too quickly to verify that this specific area of temperature would decrease to verify. It is noteworthy that this area was not present at the beginning of this segment. See screenshot below.

Real Time Events based on Location:

Big Red Barn: EMF spikes from the K-II Meter of 15-20mG (milligauss) were discovered.

Pinckney Mansion Site: K-II EMF Meter gave consistent spikes of 20-25mG (this device’s max reading) in various locations within the site, but died down to minimal readings before our departure. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “my dad”, “mother” (this could tie into the screenshot discovered in the thermal imaging video; the three adulted children), “twenty-two” heard on the new SB-11 ANC spirit box when asking Eliza about her age at time of marriage, “fire” and “burn” were heard in relation to the Great Fire of 1861.

Lodge Alley: The following names were heard on the way to Lodge Alley: “Irving”, “Mark”, and “Warren”. Noted that “Warren” was heard several times throughout the investigation. None of these names appear on the residents list of Lodge Alley, but here’s the link to the document for reference: See pages 12-13 of this archaeological document for the full list of names.

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: Terms heard on the SBox spirit boxes: “girl in the window” (this inspired me to tell you the story of Nettie Dickerson. “riffraff”, “pirate ship” (as we prepared to discuss Anne Bonny).

Powder Magazine: Here’s where things get a little weird. The following terms were heard in real time: “William”, “Alexa”, “Sarah”, and “rose”. All terms relate to Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd, even though “William” is the name of Anne Bonny’s father (William Cormac).

  • William and Sarah are the names of Dr. Ladd’s parents.
  • Dr. Ladd stayed at 59 Church Street, aka, the Thomas Rose House.
  • And Dr. Ladd is buried in Alexandria, VA (Alexa). I know this may seem like a stretch for this one, but I find it a little too close with the other given clues.

All terms can be verified by visiting this site: Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd’s Grave.

Real Time Events based on Location:

Big Red Barn: No EMF spikes were discovered on the EMF function of the Mel Meter at this site. The number “forty-four” was heard on the SBox spirit box, in relation to the year Eliza Lucas and Charles Pinckney were married; 1744.

Pinckney Mansion Site: EMF spikes detected on the Mel Meter: 3.6mG (milligauss), 5.6mG, 5.9mG, 6.4mG, 12mG, 14mG, 15.9mG, and 28.4mG. These numbers grew rapidly while near the center of the site. The REM pod function of the Mel Meter gave two indicators of “purple” indicating motion near the user. The term “birthday” was heard in real time from the SBox spirit box.

Lodge Alley: The name “Joe” was heard along the way to Lodge Alley. See “James” in the digital spirit box word list for link to the full list of names.

Philadelphia Alley: The term “gun” was also heard on the SB-11 ANC spirit box, matching the digital spirit box word list.

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: Terms heard on the SBox spirit box: “fall”, “circus”, “adore”, “catch” (heard twice).

Powder Magazine: Noteworthy that the REM pod function of the Mel Meter gave flickering “green” indicators and several other “purple” and “red” indicators in various sections of the site next to the Powder Magazine. These indicators were given once the user began to take steps and are not conclusive. The terms/phrases “too far”, “witness”, “night”, and “Papa John’s” (Calico Jack’s real name was John Rackham) were heard on the SBox spirit box.

SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:26 “eighteen”
  • 0:48 “wonderful friends”
  • 7:26 “Tyler”
  • 12:56 “talk to them”
  • 18:59 “no outside beverages” Still near Big John’s Tavern, where the term “spirits” was also heard in real time.
  • 25:18 “third service”
  • 31:42 “someone died”
  • 36:56 “place of the dead”
  • 41:51 “your savior”
  • 47:10 “nine eight two five”
  • 51:58 (mumbling, possibly disembodied. Audio was not able to be ‘cleaned up’ to discern any distinction)
  • 58:24 “do you feel”
  • 1:03:01 “forsaken”
  • 1:08:25 “death”
  • 1:13:44 “liar”
  • 1:20:25 “long way” (song lyric)
  • 1:26:03 “military appreciation”
  • 1:26:11 “attorney” Still near Philadelphia Alley, where Ralph Isaacs, one of the duelers from the story, was an attorney.
  • 1:26:24 “dirt”
  • 1:32:26 “Philadelphia” Even though this audio cuts off the last two syllables, we were around the corner of Philadelphia Alley at the time at St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery.
  • 1:39:10 “humility”
  • 1:46:10 “marrying” Possible two meanings. First, team members were asking Anne Bonny about her favorite husband. Second, you have to say “Mary” in order to say this term; related to Mary Read (Anne’s companion/lover) and Mary Brennan (Anne’s mother).
  • 1:52:31 “compete on price” Only one block away from Philadelphia Alley, terms like “competition”, “contest”, and “competitor” often show up in relation to the duels that occurred here.

*I just want to note that although we were on a paranormal investigation and terms around the term “death” would be thought common, they are not. In my findings of this audio, there were three terms that stood out in relation to death: “someone died”, “place of the dead”, and “death”.

Thermal Imaging Video

I found no anomalies or any out of the norm temperatures while spot checking the video. I got excited around the 37:00 minute marker, but it turned out to be one of our team members purse or article of clothing, the further I watched the scene. This video can also be used as a point of audio for EVPs.

Full Spectrum Lighting Video

I found no anomalies in the full spectrum video spot check either outside the IR lighting or in the laser grids.

Real Time Events based on Location:

Big Red Barn: Spike noted on K-II EMF Meter of 15-20mG (milligauss). The term “spirits” was heard on a SBox; still close to Big John’s Tavern where “spirits” could be considered drinks.

Pinckney Mansion Site: K-II EMF Meter spiked out at 25mG (this device’s max reading). The EMF function of the Mel Meter showed spikes of 3.1mG, and 23.8mG. The REM pod function of the Mel Meter gave “blue” signals, showing motion near the user. Terms heard on spirit boxes: “dire”, “two”, “bridge”, “there was a time”, “seven” (heard twice), “bull”, “have”, “no”.

Lodge Alley: The following names were heard on spirit boxes: “Zack”, “Noah”, “Marvin”. None of these names appear on the Lodge Alley Residents List. See pages 12-13 of this archaeological document to see the full list of names.

Philadelphia Alley: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “because the runaway”, “shot” (obvious relation to the duels), “Men of righteous”

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “aim” (yet another term for Philadelphia Alley’s duels), “brother”, “son of God” (religious terms/phrases are often heard around this location), “apparition” (relatable to the apparition caught of Sue Howard Hardy in 1987. Warning: this link contains the cursed photo), “now”.

Powder Magazine: No EMF spikes were detected in the area from either meter. The REM Pod detected a “blue” reading indicating motion. Terms heard on spirit boxes: “around”, “that’s my girl” (we were discussing Anne Bonny in this location), “now”, “five minutes” (Anne Bonny is said to have had five children total; one in Cuba and four more after her pirate career), “God” (more religious terms near St. Phillip’s), “where was Peter”, “tap” (noteworthy that this term also showed up on the digital spirit box word list), “William” (the name of Anne Bonny’s father; William Cormac) “seven oh seven” (double sevens in this area are usually related to Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd from the Philadelphia Alley story, his birthday is July 7 or 7/7), “eighty-seven”, “I want to be with him” (when asking Anne Bonny about her favorite husband), “Annie Read” (combination of Anne Bonny and Mary Read), “hurry”, “Nick” (hey, that’s me! Or not… the Nicholas Trott house is on the other side of the Powder Magazine and the judge at Anne Bonny’s trial was Nicholas Lawes. In other words, it’s not uncommon to see my name at this location), “lane”.

Noteworthy terms from the Paravox App used by Leanne. Thanks for adding this, these terms actually produced a better list than the app I provided!

  • 9:21 “jasmin” When asking Eliza what her favorite flower is, jasmine is often the answer, although this cannot be proven.
  • 9:24 “burn” The Pinckney Mansion burned in the Great Fire of 1861.
  • 9:25 “leg” Thomas Pinckney was shot in his right leg after being captured by the British during the Battle of Camden.
  • 9:26 “president” George Washington was a pallbearer at Eliza Lucas Pinckney’s funeral.
  • 9:31 “tragic” “June” Baby George Lucas (Eliza’s infant son) died in June of 1747.
  • 9:35 “Lucas” It doesn’t get any clearer than this. The maiden name of Eliza Lucas Pinckney.
  • 9:35 “wood” George Washington was said to have had wooden dentures. This term is often heard near the Pinckney Mansion site simply because it’s easier to produce one syllable terms instead of his full name. Although! I learned this fun little fact because George Washington’s full name came up twice in one week on a spirit box.
  • “William” was on the list from the Powder Magazine (the name of Anne Bonny’s father).

Real Time Events based on Location:

Big Red Barn: The K-II EMF Meter gave spike ranges of 15-20mG (milligauss) and 20-25mG (this device’s max reading).

Pinckney Mansion Site: K-II EMF Meter spiked out at 25mG in various locations within the site. The EMF function of the Mel Meter showed spikes of 3.1mG and 17.6mG, along with many flickering “green” REM pod lights indicating motion near the user. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “one oh four” “four” (four being the number of children by Eliza and Charles), “eleven” (The date of the Great Charleston Fire of 1861 was December 11), “children”, “twenty”.

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “seventeen”, “Patricia”, and “first route”.

Powder Magazine: No EMF spikes on either the K-II EMF Meter or from the EMF function of the Mel Meter. The REM pod function showed more flickering “green” indicators while at this site. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “red” and “time” were heard on the new SB-11 ANC spirit box, “Jerry Stewart”, “lost at sea” (a piratey phrase if I ever saw one).

Other Anomalous Happenings: The newly recharged 9V battery of the long range IR light died around the St. Phillip’s Church location. The name occurrences in the spirit boxes between April 10’s and April 11’s investigations are too circumstantial to be coincidences. (Kelly, [Buffalo] Don, Sean)

SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:26 “chef”
  • 7:43 “major issue”
  • 12:28 “3:30…stallion” We were near the Big Red Barn at this time.
  • 20:20 “disability”
  • 20:29 “the color” (song lyric)
  • 25:54 “you gonna open it”
  • 32:50 “host”
  • 38:39 “make a decision”
  • 44:55 “buffalo”
  • 51:04 “culture”
  • 56:45 “May eighth” When researching this date in Charleston and relation to the Pinckneys, I found that during the Siege of Charlestown in 1780, Col. Grimke declared “no more Meat served out”. (the term “meat”, which we all laughed about, was discovered on the digital spirit box word list just one block before the Pinckney Mansion site). Charles Cotesworth (Eliza’s son) was one of the dissenters to the siege. Very interesting indeed. At this time, we would’ve been leaving the Pinckney Mansion site and heading towards Lodge Alley.
  • 56:58 “747” Depending on our exact location (if we were at the intersection of East Bay Street and Cumberland Street), the double “7’s” would reference Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd’s birthday of July 7 (7/7). I’ve seen where just crossing Cumberland can stir up terms related to the dueling story.
  • 1:02:05 “bidding”
  • 1:07:59 “pretty deep”
  • 1:12:58 “he waited” Remember that Dr. Ladd refused medical treatment after his gunshot wound to the knee.
  • 1:18:06 “Bible” Religious terms are often seen/heard around St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery.
  • 1:26:27 “pretty good breakfast”
  • 1:32:33 “greater good”
  • 1:38:25 “mystery”
  • 1:45:18 “twenty-five years”
  • 1:51:58 “seven” John C. Calhoun, our 7th Vice President is buried on the western side of St. Phillip’s, just over the brick wall behind the Powder Magazine.
Thermal Imaging Video

At marker 37:32 in the thermal imaging video, a quick anomaly is caught while at the Pinckney Mansion site. The coldest spot recorded in the screen shot below is 65.8°, even if the ambient temperature is around 78° in this location, that’s a 12.2° difference. it’s not much of a difference considering I normally would like to see at least a 20° drop, but the frame is claiming that the 65.8° is colder than that of the windows of the parked cars nearby in blue/black. This is also on a cement post at the gates of the site which should be holding onto the heat from the day’s sunlight.

Real Time Events based on Location:

Big Red Barn: The phrase “stop it” was heard on the SBox spirit box.

Pinckney Mansion Site: Spikes on the REM pod function of the Mel Meter included “yellow”, “blue” and a flickering “green”. EMF spikes detected on the EMF function of the Mel Meter included 11.9mG (milligauss), 13.2mG, 32mG, 33mG, 55mG, 62mG, and a huge 76mG. Terms heard on the spirit box: “eight” (See May 8 found in the SBox findings), “youth”, and “violet” was heard twice. Violet could be the signifier of Eliza’s favorite color which is often depicted as purple on my investigations.

Lodge Alley: The name “Frank” was heard on the spirit box. There was a Francis that lived in Lodge Alley, it is unclear if this was a male or female. See link in “Ben” from the digital spirit box word list. I would also like to point out that Ralph Isaacs from the dueling story was buried in Frankford Presbyterian Graveyard.

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: The name “Mary” (related to Anne Bonny’s mother [Mary Brennan] or Anne’s companion [Mary Read]) and the term “attorney” (related to Ralph Isaacs from the dueling story at Philadelphia Alley, Isaacs was an attorney).

Powder Magazine: Terms heard on the spirit box: “Captain Louie” and “Jack” (Captain Calico Jack), “Jake Jackson”, “crystal”, “Carl”, “the Sherman”, “what you need to know”, “doctor” (still only one block from Philadelphia Alley), “twenty-five” (Calhoun’s vice presidency started in 1825), “Miranda”, “dynasty”.

Pinckney Mansion Site: Spikes from the EMF function of the Mel Meter included: 2.7mG (milligauss), 4.3mG, 5.3mG, 8.1mG and 8.9mG. The REM pod function of the Mel Meter showed indicators “purple” and “red”, indicating motion near the user. Terms heard on the spirit box: “two”, “ten”, “five years”, “blow air”, and “Harry”.

Powder Magazine: REM pod function showed indicators of “flickering green” and “blue”. The phrase “begging you” was heard on the spirit box.

SBox Spirit Box Audio

These are the terms/phrases I discovered during my spot check of the SBox spirit box audio. Those that are noteworthy have an explanation and/or links in their description. Others are there to help you learn what to listen for as you go through this type of audio:

  • 0:19 “something about”
  • 7:05 “Sam”
  • 12:43 “there are places”
  • 20:03 “come together” (song lyric)
  • 26:02 “really upset”
  • 31:43 “one historian”
  • 37:24 “everything that we know”
  • 43:31 “interest in stories”
  • 48:15 “battling disease” Vague, but we would’ve been discussing Eliza Pinckney’s breast cancer treatments in Philadelphia at this time.
  • 54:43 “in spirit”
  • 55:04 “lost”??? (disembodied voice, not entirely clear. Class B EVP)
  • 59:50 “shapes”
  • 1:06:31 “tight spaces” At this time, we would’ve been outside Philadelphia Alley.
  • 1:06:54 “spring loaded” Near/At Philadelphia Alley where duels occurred. Dueling pistols were known to have a “frizzen” striker which would’ve been spring loaded. See picture below.
  • 1:13:02 “general…document” At St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery, where Charles Pinckney (Eliza’s husband), and Charles Pinckney (Eliza’s nephew) are buried. The nephew introduced the Pinckney Promise to the Constitution. Although this is a vague phrase, there is a possibility of another clue in the SBox audio.
  • 1:19:19 “Ghostbusters!” I just found this hilarious since Santi was playing this at the beginning of the investigation.
  • 1:25:30 “I was abused”
  • 1:31:28 “on accident”
  • 1:37:19 “ninety-five, nine” Only one block away from Philadelphia Alley. Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd lived at 59 Church Street, now known as the Thomas Rose House.
  • 1:43:29 “lie down”
  • 1:43:40 “devil twists”
  • 1:43:51 “seven” This number often shows up from Philadelphia Alley to the Powder Magazine. It is usually discernable as to which story (ghost) it belongs to based on the number of times it is head. If heard twice, then it belongs to Dr. Ladd at Philadelphia Alley (his birthday is July 7 or 7/7). If heard only once, then it is likely it belongs to John C. Calhoun, our seventh Vice President.

4/8/2022 – 10:44 PM: TEACHER (.45) The word “teach” will often show up around this location. Possible two meanings: First, Blackbeard’s real name was Edward Teach, second, there is a story of a schoolteacher named Zoe St. Amand who haunts Poogan’s Porch only one block away from our location. Real Time Events based on Location:

Pinckney Mansion Site: Consistent spikes from the K-II EMF Meter from 15-25mG (milligauss, this device’s max reading is 25mG). EMF spikes from the EMF function of the Mel Meter: 2.5mG, 3.5mG, 6.1mG, 8.8mG, 20.6mG, 21.9mG, and 34.7mG. This was a steady growth in the northern area of the site. Terms heard on spirit boxes: “I’m not like other girls”(yes, Eliza, we already knew that), “strange crap”, “hello”, “hear me”, “judgment”, “family” (this term along with “home” often show up in this space), “president”, “fire” (The Pinckney Mansion burned in the Great Fire of 1861), “rat hole”.

Lodge Alley: The term “double” was heard on a spirit box.

Powder Magazine: No EMF spikes were detected while investigating the space. Terms heard on spirit boxes: “I don’t want you to know”, “lifetime”, “Mary” (Often heard in this space, in relation to Mary Read, [Anne Bonny’s companion/lover] or to Mary Brennan [Anne Bonny’s mother]), “died in my arms” (possibly what happened to the child born in Cuba), “what”.

  • 16:26 “the baptism”
  • 22:12 “James”
  • 28:07 “like home” The terms home and family often show up as we enter the Pinckney Mansion site.
  • 33:26 “purple” Although it cannot be proven, it is often asked of Eliza what her favorite color is. This is the most common answer that I see.
  • 39:25 “single model”
  • 44:23 “if you ask me exactly where it is”
  • 50:25 “he’s in heaven”
  • 50:32 “John”
  • 56:23 “family fun”
  • 1:02:11 “John” Second occurrence, but this one would’ve been while we were in Lodge Alley. The names I commonly see every six to seven weeks are “John” and “Benjamin”. See pages 12-13 of this archaeological document for the full list of names of the residents of Lodge Alley.
  • 1:03:24 “gangster in crime films”
  • 1:10:08 (whistling) We were at Philadelphia Alley by this time discussing The Whistling Doctor (Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd). Last week, we also heard whistling from a song in this area, but a different song (it was Guns n’ Roses “Patience”).
  • 1:10:23 “empty”
  • 1:16:52 “rules”
  • 1:24:12 “their father died” This phrase, along with “Charles” heard in real time, could be related to Charles Pinckney (Eliza’s husband) who is buried on the eastern side of the St. Phillip’s Cemetery.
  • 1:30:13 “may protect you”
  • 1:30:28 “Jessie”
  • 1:36:08 “this is a reality”

Real Time Events based on Location:

Pinckney Mansion Site: Spikes on the EMF function of the Mel Meter: 2.6mG (milligauss), 6.3mG, 7.1mG, 14.8mG, 15.2mG, 19.1mG, and 27.2mG. Remember, they’ve never done an archaeological dig under this site, so essentially, there shouldn’t be anything there to make this device go off this way. Terms heard on spirit boxes: “for life until death”, “thirty-nine”, “from dark”, and “hello” was heard on the SB11-ANC spirit box.

Lodge Alley: The name “Robin” was heard on the SB11-ANC spirit box.

Philadelphia Alley: Terms/phrases heard on spirit boxes: “rob us”, and “Anne”.

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: No EMF spikes detected. Terms heard on spirit boxes: “Charles” (see “their father died” in the SBox findings), “stay with me”, “separation”.

Powder Magazine: First and foremost, the SB11-ANC spirit box’s battery died once we entered the site. This rechargeable battery was changed just before our investigation. The REM pod function of the Mel Meter gave us indicators of “blue”, “purple”, and “red”, almost at command. A small spike of 2.5mG was detected near the Powder Magazine itself. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “follow him”, “people on my local”, “no one’s about”, “there’s a different”, “pirates”, “then go look”.

SBox Spirit Box Audio

Here are the terms/phrases I discovered while spot checking the SBox Spirit Box Audio. Relevant terms will have an explanation and/or backlinks to verify. Other terms listed are to help you learn how to listen to this type of audio:

  • 0:24 “children of New York” Team, it doesn’t get any clearer than this. “New York” along with “Giant” coming through on the digital spirit box word list gives us the full name of Big John Cannady’s football team; the New York Giants. Wow. These are the moments I live for.
  • 6:08 “engage”
  • 11:52 “get from your doctor”
  • 18:22 “all of the teams”
  • 24:09 “come out of the ground”
  • 31:04 “my husband”
  • 37:12 “the war”
  • 37:50 “period of time”
  • 43:13 “if you love money”
  • 49:28 “hits home” The terms “home” and “family” are often found at the Pinckney Mansion site.
  • 55:21 “Army National Guard” Thomas Pinckney (Eliza’s son) served in the Continental Army during the Battle of Camden. This along with “prisoner” heard in real-time, shows we had some activity occurring dealing with Thomas.
  • 1:01:07 “say goodbye to this lot” We would’ve been leaving the Pinckney Mansion site at this time, which is now a parking lot.
  • 1:07:31 “these older homes” We would’ve been inside Lodge Alley at this time discussing the different houses around Charleston. See pages 12-13 of this archaeological document for the full list of residents.
  • 1:12:40 “thank you for that gift”
  • 1:19:30 “you described”
  • 1:25:43 “five times”
  • 1:31:39 “got my paycheck”
  • 1:39:36 “twenty years” Anne Bonny and Mary Read’s trial for piracy was November 28, 1720.
  • 1:39:42 “they were spies” Anne Bonny was upset with her new husband when she discovered he was a privateer, therefore, a spy for the British.
  • 1:46:49 “restrictions”
  • 1:53:08 “I love” (song lyric). It’s not uncommon to hear terms/phrases around love at this location due to the amount of lovers of Anne Bonny.
Thermal Imaging Video

I found no anomalies during my spot check of the thermal imaging video.

Full Spectrum Lighting Video

At marker 5:43 of the full spectrum lighting video, an anomaly moves into the red light from teh laser grid. The speed of this would normally suggest an insect, but the sizing of it is much larger than other insects floating around.

An anomaly just to the right of the source of the red laser grid.

Real Time Events based on Location

Big Red Barn: The K-II EMF Meter showed spikes of 15-20mG (milligauss).

Pinckney Mansion Site: The K-II Meter showed consistency of 15-25mG throughout the site. The EMF function of the Mel Meter gave spikes of 3.6mG, 4.1mG, 6.3mG and a huge spike of 61.3mG. Nice catch! Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “there are prisoners here” (relatable to Thomas Pinckney who was captured during the Battle of Camden), “avenue”, “jail”, “ash” (The Pinckney Mansion burned in the Great Fire of 1861), “red” (heard twice, relatable to ‘what color is the big red barn?’), “four” (heard on the SB11-ANC, this signifies the number of children by Eliza and Charles).

Lodge Alley: Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “Michelle”, “Nick”, “Bivens”, “Amanda” (this was heard while crossing Cumberland street while walking down East Bay Street. Often, we’ll see/hear terms related to the Philadelphia Alley dueling story here due to the alley sitting between Cumberland and Queen street. In this case, Amanda is the name of Dr. Joseph Brown Ladd’s fiancée). “one hundred and twenty-two million” (Dr. Ladd was 22 years old when he died from a gunshot wound from his duel with Ralph Isaacs.)

Philadelphia Alley: Terms heard around this location: “Charles” (Charles Pinckney [Eliza’s husband] is buried at St. Phillip’s, only one block away from our location), “Carter”, “Adam”, “wife”, “seven” (this number shows up often around Philadelphia Alley and is relatable to one of two instance: first, Dr. Ladd’s birthday was July 7 or 7/7, so often this number will be heard twice. Second, John Calhoun, our 7th Vice President is buried on the western side of St. Phillip’s Cemetery.

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “locked up”, “fight” (still relative to dueling), “fifteen” (it was approximately 1715 when Anne Cormac met and fell in love with James Bonny).

Powder Magazine: No EMF spikes were reported at this location. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “liberty”, “Sara” and “David” (two things to note here with Sara and David. First, it’s not uncommon to have the names of the ghost hunters show up. Second, the “David” heard came out of the new SB11-ANC and is the third instance where this name came out of this box at the same location. Thus far, my research has not shown any ties of a David at this location). “George”, “open”, “American”, “yellow”, “Louis”, “feeling”, “thirty-six” (unfortunately, Calico Jack died when he was 37, not 36. Of course, pirate lore is always up for speculation due to the time period and inaccurate records.)

Big Red Barn: EMF spikes on the K-II EMF Meter (the blinky light up device) gave readings of 15-220mG (milligauss). The EMF function of the Mel Meter gave readings of 2.5mG and 2.9mG.

Pinckney Mansion Site: Consistent readings of 20-25mG on the K-II EMF Meter (this device’s max reading is 25mG). The EMF function of the Mel Meter gave the following readings: 4.1mG, 6.9mG, 10.1mG, 13.6mG, 14.1mG, 18.2mG and 21mG. Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “lean on me”, and “sacrifice”.

Philadelphia Alley: Term of “outcast” was heard on the SBox spirit box.

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: Terms heard on the spirit box “Jackie” (possibly relatable to Calico Jack), and “cut his head off” (Blackbeard’s head was cut off after he was killed. The term “black hole sun” was heard later while at the Powder Magazine).

Powder Magazine: Small spike of 2.2mG on the EMF function of the Mel Meter. “Illuminati Mason” heard on the spirit box along with “black hole son” (See St. Phillip’s real time events), and “St. Francis”.

SBox Spirit Box Audio

Here are the terms/phrases I discovered while spot checking the SBox Spirit Box Audio. Relevant terms will have an explanation and/or backlinks to verify. Other terms listed are to help you learn how to listen to this type of audio:

  • 0:08 “very careful”
  • 6:18 “no air”
  • 6:37 “the cancer” Getting closer to the Pinckney Mansion site. Eliza Lucas Pinckney died from what we know as breast cancer in 1793 while getting treatments in Philadelphia.
  • 10:47 “L as in life” This one is odd, we discussed that both of Charles Pinckney’s wives had maiden names that started with the L: Lucas and Lamb.
  • 10:57 “Nick” My name has been known to show up through spirit boxes, but I can’t recall anytime that it came through on this specific model of spirit box.
  • 11:17 “G”
  • 11:23 “W” As close as these two letters are together: G.W. , the initials of the president, George Washington who acted as a pallbearer at Eliza Lucas Pinckney’s funeral.
  • 16:41 “before the fire” This one is probably related to the Pinckney Mansion Site’s fall from the Great Fire of 1861 based on all the other clues around this time frame. Even though, Big John’s Tavern did suffer from a fire in 2015.
  • 22:36 “a home” The term “home” is common upon entering the Pinckney Mansion site.
  • 28:35 “thousands”
  • 36:01 “the consequences”
  • 42:40 “spouse…yeah”

  • 1:07:34 “anniversary”
  • 1:14:31 “in your own country”
  • 1:14:53 “another one bites the dust” (song lyric) Nothing wrong with a little humor while talking about duels.
  • 1:22:14 “trusted”
  • 1:29:16 “Jesus said” It’s not uncommon to see religious terms/phrases while near/at St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery.

  • 1:41:31 “versus from the Bible”
  • 1:42:31 “money”

Real Time Events based on Location

Pinckney Mansion Site: Readings from the K-II EMF Meter ranged from 20-25mG (milligauss) consistently throughout the site. EMF spikes caught from the EMF function of the Mel Meter: 7.0mG, 8.9mG, and 13mG. A “blue” reading came through on the REM pod function of the Mel Meter, indicating motion near the user. Terms heard on various spirit boxes: “March 24th” (during my research, I could find no specific relevance to this date and the Pinckneys. The term “anniversary” was heard in my SBox findings, so I searched for anniversaries among the Pinckneys), “nine”, “right way”, “needle in a haystack” (I’ll often have my guests ask “what’s inside the Big Red Barn?” as good practice: haystack), “knife”, “Jesus Christ”, “fire” and “drunken fire” (The Great Fire of 1861 was said to have been started by some homeless folks near the site of the Harris Teeter grocery store, possibly drunk, but there is no proof of this), “ministry”, “forgiveness”, and “I am sorry”.

Lodge Alley: No significant spikes on either EMF meters. Terms heard on spirit boxes: “Paul” (yes, there is a Paul that lived in Lodge Alley), “running away”, “Johnny” and “Johnson” (we discussed the names I commonly here in this location based on the Stone Tape Theory, those names are Benjamin and John. John’s last name being Johnson. See pages 12-13 of this archaeological document for the full list of names), “Earl”, “Illuminati” (the Freemasons held their Masonic Lodge in this space, hence the name Lodge Alley).

Philadelphia Alley: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “home” (on the new SB11-ANC spirit box), “gold mine” (as we were discussing that Dr. Ladd was sent away due to Amanda’s inheritance), “medication” (obviously a medical term; we’re discussing a doctor here), “wage”, “twenty-five”, “hedge”, “Frank”, “Marcus”, “mash”, “four seventy-eight” (possibly our “eight” missing from the “eighty” in the digital spirit box word list above?)

St. Phillip’s Church and Cemetery: Terms heard on the spirit boxes: “ship” (starting our investigation of Charleston’s pirates), “open” (when we were discussing the tunnel that once existed underneath the Pirate House).

Powder Magazine: Terms heard on spirit boxes: “nurses”, “two”, “fifty-nine, seventy-one” (Still close to Philadelphia Alley where Dr. Ladd stayed at 59 Church Street), “$100 glass regal”, “Morda” (heard twice. What I found on a forum that could be relative here: “”Morda” literally means “ugly face” or an animal’s, i.e. dog’s “snout“. If used in referrence to persons it carries a negative, …” Remember, Anne Bonny’s last words to Calico Jack, “”Had you fought like a man, you need not have been hang’d like a dog”.), “Daddy”, “twelve”, “diamond”, “water everywhere” (see “ocean” above), “Jeremy”, “sacrifice” and “blues”.
