Big John’s Tavern/Big Red Barn: The word “miss” was heard almost I immediately gave an example to provide first instinct on the spirit box, using the words “miss” and “kiss” as the example. Several moments later, the song “This Kiss” by Shania Twain was playing at a nearby restaurant bar.

Pinckney Mansion Site: EMF findings in milligauss: 6.9mG, 13.1mG, 17.1mG, 81.4mG. The average for this location is 18-22mG.

Terms heard on the spirit box: “always something there to remind me”, “God”.

Philadelphia Alley: On the way there the question “Can you hear me” was heard on the spirit box.

An EMF reading of 3.0mG was discovered while at this location.

Terms heard on the spirit box: “capital city” (Timrod was offered to go to Columbia, the capital of South Carolina, to the cottage of Paul Hamilton Hayne to get back to writing after the death of his son, Willie), “two days” (unknown how long Timrod spent at Hayne’s cottage before his death), “counselor”, “stony creek”, “a thousand bucks”
