In the regular audio, you’ll hear the stories again for reference along with the terms heard from the SB7 spirit box (the non recordable device). The most significant thing is the name “Jack” while at the Powder Magazine in relation to Calico Jack, the beau of Anne Bonny.

In the SBox recording above, I found the following terms while spot checking the recording. I don’t go through the entire recording so you can have the fun of discovering more.

• 8:20 “shot … down”
• 16:04 “double it” I did tell you that Charles was over double Eliza’s age when they got married. He was 45, she was 22
• 21:29 “to save you”
• 21:35 “the 22nd” Again, with Eliza’s age at the time of her marriage; 22.
• 28:23 “in a hurry”
• 35:00 “the doctor told us about” This could be directly related to the “CANCER” term below from the digital spirit box.
• 57:15 “twists and surprises”
• 1:09:31 “touch”
• 1:16:53 “I want to know”
• 1:36:18 “1-oh-5-5” Anne Bonny’s number of children; 5. One in Cuba, the other four after her rescue back to Charleston.

I found no anomalies in the thermal imaging video.

I’ll also note here that the Mel Meter’s EMF detection spiked at 23 at the Pinckney Mansion site.

UPDATE: Jennifer sent me a link with a letter from Thomas Jefferson to Charles Pinckney (This would’ve been the nephew of Eliza, I believe) in regards to a Mrs. Trist. This relevant information stems from the fact that we heard “Thomas Jefferson” on the SBox and the name “Tristan” shows up in the digital spirit box. Great find, Jennifer, this is greatly appreciated. Jefferson to Pinckney, 1809.

First, let me correct an error I made last night: Eliza Lucas Pinckney‘s birthday is December 28, her death date May 26. I had the two reversed.

In the regular audio, you’ll hear the stories over again for reference, along with any EVPs that want to show themselves. Victoria and Reilly, you’ll have to listen in on the first 45 minutes or so to get fully caught up with what was happening with the other devices.

In the SBox spirit box audio, I found the following terms. Keep in mind, that I do not listen to the entire recording, that would take away the fun of you discovering more. I will say, this particular recording was a bit light in what came through:

What an interesting string of events. I want to first note that some of the equipment went a little faulty, all in the same location: The Pinckney Mansion site. First, the audio cut out after only 32 minutes into our tour, this was when we entered into the Mansion site. Then the camera stopped working, battery gone dead. Finally, the SBox had a jolt where it cut off, then turned back on again, but without the recording. Luckily Angela and her husband were taking notes of what they heard and then sent it to me. Nice job!

In the regular audio, you’ll catch most of the story up to the Eliza Pinckney bit. That’s where it cuts off.

Through the small amount of photos we were able to take, I did find one anomaly that is questionable. I’ve left that photo above, zoomed in on the small anomaly in question. I will be sending this photo over to my wife for further analysis; photography and graphic design are her specialties.

The thermal imaging video starts off upside down, but that’s because I had to flip the video so that the bulk of it could be watched in the correct angle. This happens from time to time, based on the way the camera is handled during the ghost hunt.

Unfortunately, your thermal imaging video was cut short at 16 minutes and 20 seconds. I’ve only seen this happen one other time where the video acted like it was recording all night, but only gave a portion of the video. I tested the thermal imaging camera this morning and it recorded and played back just fine. Take that for what it’s worth, but something did not want to be seen.

I did not find any anomalies in the pictures taken. There was one that was questionable, but it’s exactly that; questionable.

In your SBox spirit box recording, I found the following terms. I want to note here that the “sweeping” of stations is awfully slow in this recording which is uncanny for this device. It’s slower than normal, check other tours’ data below to see what I mean. This made my initial scan of this recording awfully thin for phrases/terms. I’ll be interested to hear from you about what you discover.

• 27:16 “2-2” Eliza Pinckney was 22 when she married Charles. Also, of note, she was born in 1722.
• 43:38 “fit right in”
• 45:34 “2-5”
• 1:03:39 “enthusiastic about”
• 1:26:40 “repair headaches” there’s another reference to Dr. Ladd and his medicines again.
• 1:49:58 “ambush” this one is fuzzy, but “ambush” makes sense of the British fleet invading Calico Jack’s shitp, the Kingston, where all pirates were captured, tried by Chief Justice Nicholas Lawes, and eventually hung for piracy, save for Anne Bonny and Mary Read. (see links below)

I found no anomalies upon scanning your thermal imaging video.

Notes: The digital spirit box (cell phone app) battery drained down to 15% and had to attach the backup battery support. The SBox recording scan was slower than normal, even though the setting was at 1, the slowest scan making the list above seem smaller than average lists. Consecutive words from the digital spirit box list happened twice, an abnormality based on the averages of other ghost hunts.

There was so much heard through the SB7 spirit box, but the pieces I remember were “70” (the age of Eliza at her death), “George” (from other clues was George Washington, not her son or father) and “red” (what color is the barn?).

This was an excellent ghost hunt. I’m excited about the amount of “George’s” heard along with Washington. The great thing about this group was you all worked together and the SB-7 team did an amazing job; this isn’t the easiest device to listen to as you all will see when you go through the SBox recording. You have about 6 hours of audio/video to go through and countless hours of reading through the links. In the almost 500 pictures taken, I found nothing out of the ordinary. There were quite a few that were questionable, but nothing that I can call legitimate evidence. You’ll see my “lightened” pictures in the album I created for this ghost hunt on Facebook. This way, you can see what was catching my eye. As for the “orange” lights in the pictures towards the end of the tour, that is probably from the camera; at times, it’ll put on a light flash to help with lighting.

Without reviewing the entire list until this morning, I was surprised to see so many relevant terms in relation to each other. In essence, they seem like vague terms individually, but together there are small themes around indigo crops and just pirates in general.

Overall, I’m most excited about the numbers captured. They seem to be the most definitive answers received. This is the first investigation of the month, so in the future, your data will always be at the bottom of the page since I always put the newest data at the top.
