Stories in the Cemetery isn’t just an Interactive Ghost Hunting Experience in downtown Charleston, SC. Our story started off as a blog and podcast with the same name. This was sparked by a curiosity of finding truths behind the television shows and past studies of the paranormal for a better understanding of what lies beyond the grave. None of us have all the answers.
By understanding the history behind an investigated location, Stories in the Cemetery always takes a skeptic approach to any location. However, it has been discovered that if a history of raised emotion (love, tragedy, devastation) is studied long enough, the paranormal evidence is sure to come to light.
The following locations have been studied and will continue to be a study of paranormal cases for Stories in the Cemetery. As technology advances in the paranormal world, these sites may be revisited or added to the Interactive Ghost Hunting Experience if they are indeed found in Charleston, SC.
One of the main categories of a location that is studied is whether there are claims of the paranormal or not. Claims do not warrant an investigation. In fact, Stories in the Cemetery often bases a case on the lack of paranormal claims and more on the history of the location.
