In your SBox spirit box audio, here are a few things I found. Keep in mind that I do not listen to the entire recording, it’s just a spot check so you can have the fun of discovering more. In your recording, you’ll notice different speeds of radio sweeps, this was probably caused by Jackson getting bored with the history portion of your ghost hunt and playing with the buttons. This is nothing paranormal.

• 0:09 “praying for”
• 0:24 “fire” Big John’s Tavern did catch fire in 2015.
• 9:10 “July 12th”
• 15:41 “possibility”
• 21:27 “bayonet training” Bayonets were used in the Revolutionary War, which means they were definitely used in the Battle of Camden, led by Thomas Pinckney.
• 21:50 “third” Kind of a stretch, but Thomas Pinckney was the third son from Eliza Lucas Pinckney.
• 27:06 “influence and money” General description of the Pinckney family.
• 33:21 “brothers and sister” Thomas Pinckney definitely had two brothers, and one sister.

• 40:44 “medical research”
• 46:50 “was a privilege”

I found no anomalies in the thermal imaging video or full spectrum video. Keep in mind that the software for the FSPOV video does not put them in order.

Other notes: Spikes in EMF readings at the Pinckney Mansion site. Ability to distinguish a response of a direct colored light from REM pod function (blue) at Pinckney Mansion. “Little baby” was heard on SB7 spirit box in PInckney Mansion site relatable to baby George who died shortly after being born. “John” was heard while entering Lodge Alley, a common name heard here with “Benjamin”, both John and Benjamin lived in Lodge Alley in 1801. See page 12-13 of this document of Lodge Alley.

Never have I seen so much evidence turn up to cover one specific person. In this case, Thomas Pinckney was no doubt our present spirit during your ghost hunt. Eight terms/phrases point directly at Thomas!

At the Powder Magazine, spikes of orange on the Mel Meter and the term “BRITISH” was heard in relation to the Anne Bonny story, where Anne was aboard Calico Jack’s ship, the Kingston, when it was captured by the British. The consensus around this list is loosely fitting terms around the Anne Bonny story. I wouldn’t normally note this, but having seven terms “loosely” fitting the story is not coincidental. See other tours’ data to compare to see what I mean.

Other notes: The terms “44” and “by the wall” (or something relating to a wall) were also heard in real time from the spirit boxes. The “wall” is a definitive reference to Charles Towne’s Walled City. Spikes up to 35 mG (milligaus) on the MEL Meter, along with maxed readings on the K-II EMF meter: both at the Pinckney Mansion site. Some motion detected from the REM Pod, but undetermined if paranormal.

Overall, a successful ghost hunt with focused evidence on Anne Bonny and Eliza Pinckney.

First, thank you for allowing us to experiment with the Full Spectrum camera. This was our first attempt at using it in any investigation.

Lots of info here based on a great amount of evidence.

In your regular audio, you’ll hear the stories over again along with any disembodied EVPs that would have showed up. These are voices we cannot hear with our own ears. In the spirit box audio, we have a disembodied EVP, this is not radio chatter.

In the SBox audio above, I found the following terms. Keep in mind, I do not listen to this entire recording. These terms whether relevant or not are meant to help you learn how to listen to this type of recording.

Other words of note: The Mel Meter gave off a very strong reading at the Pinckney Mansion site after several resets; also showed an EMF reading peak of 70 mG (milligaus). The K-II EMF Meter gave several spikes at teh Big Red Barn Lot and the Pinckney Mansion site.

In the photos taken, there was one questionable photo, I left my notes under the pictures above.

I found no anomalies in the thermal imaging video during my spot check.

Below, you’ll find the digital spirit box word list with the few relatable terms we did have. Ther eare notes and links next to those that could have a possible connection.

Other notes: MEL meter had several spikes of EMF readings reaching as high as 70 mG (milligaus), along with several motions detected on the REM pod function of same device; all at the Pinckney Mansion site. High EMF readings from the K-II EMF detector at the Big Red Barn Lot and the Pinckney Mansion site. Both the SBox spirit box and SB-7 spirit box users had difficulty finding clues and and answers.

Folks, I urge you to check out some of the other investigations taken this month along with any other dates that you are interested in. I feel that, other than our motion detected at the Pinckney Mansion site, this was a light amount of evidence. Once i completed my review of your data, I reminded myself that we are getting closer to a full moon and in my experience, the New Moon (the exact opposite of a Full Moon) provides the most evidence; the New Moon is a “reset”.

Some terms that stood out: “7” was heard multiple times (Eliza Pinckney died at the age of 70). “Burned down” (The Pinckney Mansion burned in the Great Fire of 1861). “Four” Eliza and Charles had four children. “Dog” was also heard, which is relatable to the story of Anne Bonny, not to mention it also showed on the digital spirit box word list.

I did not find any strange happenings or anomalies in the thermal imaging video.

Other Notes: The MEL Meter was not acting properly and seemed to be oversensitive during this ghost hunt. For most of the duration, the REM Pod function of this meter was turned off due to this reason.

EMF spikes from the K-II EMF meter at the Pinckney Mansion site. Other EMF spikes up to 8mg (miligaus) on the MEL Meter, also at the Pinckney Mansion site.

I found no anomalies in the thermal imaging video or in the photographs that were taken. I spot check the video, but look through all photos.

Below, are the terms from the digital spirit box with bolded terms that have explanations and links. I’m more impressed with what came out of the SBox recording than the list below. Using both of them, it seems that we had a few terms that told us about our physical locaton more so than about the people in history that I told stories about.

Other notes: We had a couple of spikes on the Mel Meter with questionable motion detected all at the Pinckney Mansion site. All devices were in working condition with no glitches or battery drainage from any device.

I found one picture out of the 294 taken (no, you didn’t break the record of 550) that is questionable, the blue streak in the photo is at the end of Lodge Alley. Though somewhat in the same shape as all other streaks, the “blue” aspect of this is what makes it significant. This will be further analyzed this upcoming week.

I found no anomalies in the thermal imaging video. There were five that had to spliced together, so do not mistake the quick transitions as “glitches”.

Other aspects: Many terms were heard on the SB7 (non-recordable) spirit box. This is impressive; number of children from Eliza Lucas Pinckney, along with specifics on how many boys vs girls. Nice work. Other terms were also heard but this specific set of data was most impressive to me.

The Mel Meter gave us a spike of 100mg (milligaus) upon entering the Pinckney Mansion site. Some motion detected in this location and at the Powder Magazine. In your SBox Audio, I found the following terms. As you’ll see from the time stamps, I focused on the Pinckney Mansion site looking for the disembodied “3” that I thought I heard in real time. Unfortunately, I was unable to find it. Keep in mind, I did not go through this entire recording so you can have the fun of discovering more. Not all the terms below are relevant, it’s more of a way to teach you what I listen for on these types of recordings.

Although I didn’t stumble across the “Ohio” message that came through a spirit box, I just wanted to point out that Ahren’s party and myself are all from Ohio. The term “Ohio” is not often heard on a radio station in South Carolina.

In the SBox spirit box audio above, I found the following terms/phrases. Keep in mind, I do not go through this entire recording. That would be taking away the fun of you discovering more:

• 35:51 “first day” I’m taking the word “first” as the answer to “which president was a pallbearer at Eliza’s funeral”.
• 42:31 “12 to 3” I took this as a date and found this on Mark Jones’s (another local Charleston author) website: The Gazette, December 3, 1744.
• 54:24 “forty percent” I dove into the number 40 as a year in both Lodge Alley and Philadelphia Alley, but came up empty handed.
• 1:08:54 “just figured out”
• 1:14:05 “judge” Anne Bonny and Mary Read went in front of Chief Justice Nicholas Lawes to be tried for piracy.

In your thermal imaging video, Ahren was correct, she was not recording the whole time. However, when piecing the three videos together, the last few seconds (we were at the Powder Magazine), a blue film covers me in the very last second of the video just before it cut out again. It’s unexplainable and definitely something I’ve never seen before. In combination of the video cutting off, this will be considered an anomaly for sure.
